Grandgent is very rough and eroded descending from Parkman and similar, but not quite as bad coming down from Gilmore. The ascent of Sargent is very rocky and rough and quite wet in places. |

Beautiful views from each summit and all along the Sargent south ridge. Not many hikers coming up to Sargent from the west, but met many more at Sargent who had come up from Jordan Pond. |
