 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
well, we had originally planned to explore Little Abol Falls but the Abol Day Use site was full at 9am, so, we went to plan b and found this nice loop starting at the Abol Beach Day Use Site which had nobody in the area. |

 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Well, the first crossing (Abol Stream Trail) was 1 of the few places in the park that did not have a bridge and one of us fell in up to our waist and scraped our entire leg right at the start of the hike. "Could have been worse" is the phrase of the week. |

Terrific little 3.5 mile level loop to do on our departure day. Some amazing views of Katahdin through the trees. Nice old logging roads with excellent footing and minimal rocks - yippeeeee. |
