Comments
Comments: We started off on the Appalachian Trail for just under a mile. It had been broken out not too long ago but had a couple inches of fresh snow on it. We then took Stratton Brook Road for a little over a mile. This was well packed down by snowmobiles. We had to break out the Fire Warden's Trail. Just a couple inches at the bottom but a foot or more up high, especially heading up to West Peak. We ran into one hiker heading up as we were coming down so between the two in our group and this third hiker the trail is now fairly well packed down.
