 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
There were 2 cars in the lot when we arrived and about 9 there when we finished. With careful parking about 12 to 15 cars can fit in the lot. Coming from the Rumford side, there are a few bigger washouts on the road which require care. |

|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
All were dry so very easy to cross |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There are a few step overs along the way and a few new to me blowdowns. The large one leading to Speckled Mountain has a well worn herd path around it now. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
One happy pupper headed to the lake with her people. This route is good for dogs. Speckled Mountain has some steep scrambly/rooty sections that experienced trail dogs will have no issues with. |
|
 | Bugs: |
They weren't an issue but I managed to inhale another one today. Only me. |
|
 | Lost and Found: |
There is a broken canoe by the kiosk. It's quite a sight to see. |
