 | Comments: |
Followed the route described in Maine By Foot, which follows wide unmaintained roadways and wide ATV/ snowmobile routes, in good condition overall. The grades are mild to moderate except the last 0.2 or so up the nose of the mountain which is steep/ slabby. Trail conditions were dry, no mud, but it's clear that the trail would be muddy in places during wetter conditions. Great views from the summit clearing, nearly 270 degrees. The route also passes by an attractive beaver pond/ tarn basin. |
