AMC White Mountain Guide directions are perfect. Road does get narrow for the last 2.5 miles.....Trail is closed, however. |

I got to the trailhead, geared up and then saw a sign saying that the trail was CLOSED!!!! They appear to be reconstructing the fire tower and are also doing trail maintenance down low. This may go all summer long, so check with the State Park for updates before looking to go. I don't know why they didn't post it on the entry road.
If you are in the area, the Tumbledown/Jackson range and Bald Mountain are amazing alternatives.... |
