Trail begins at the back, right hand corner of the sand pit where we parked. At the bottom of the incline, take the trail to the right over a small brook (an old logging road goes left), and immediately begin climbing steeply on large chunks of loose gravel, this will last for several minutes. Eventually this path will level out and lead to the Boundry swath where you should take a left. Go immediately over a small hump, then over a small sub-peak and finally up Boundry Peak, all in about 1.25 miles. look for the large cairn on the right and enter the opening beside it to find the cannister.
Nice views towards both the U.S. and Canada from the Boundry swath with the sun out. #99 for Nancy and Pat, #96 for Eileen. |
