Cars of all makes can now easily drive up the newly renovated Caribou Valley Road over 3.5 miles, up to the concrete road barriers at the "steel grate" bridge. Ample parking for multiple vehicles. |

Lots of seeps and water for Skipper. But we did carry extra for the dry summits. |

We did this trip as a clockwise circuit over a 2-day backpack trip. Very pleasant alternative to a one-day hard march (22 miles / 5700' gain), or having to hike it as two, out and back days. |
