Comments
Comments: This was a great day for a walk on Franconia Ridge. With temps in the 20's and 30 mph winds it was time for full winter gear up top. Although I couldn't measure it the weather reports indicated that the wind chills were in the 10 below range. It sure felt like it. The snow started early on the Falling waters trail with a dusting and by the time we got to the ridge there was probably an inch. Lafayette was in the clouds but there were great views from the other peaks. With Greanleaf hut being on it's last weekend of the season it was packed.
