Comments
Comments: NOTE: for those like me that haven't been on UNH trail since last year - they have done a major trail relocation on the branch heading to the east ledges. The loop junction is now located .6 miles up the west branch just above the clear cut section. Plenty of signs to direct hikers and a nice explanation for the reason for the re-route.

A great October day for a hike, clear skies and great views. Saw 20+ people out on the trails today. Up west branch and down east. Heading up a few spots of mud and above Allen's ledge a few damp rocks. A little mud and a few damp rocks from the summit down to the east ledge. Some wet and slick rocks right below the east ledges and there were a few spots where ice was forming on the rocks - enough to make sure you keep an eye on your steps; down lower a few spots with running water making the rock a bit slick. Sign points out the relocated trail section which the crews did a great job with.
