we parked near the FS gate on Blueberry Mountain Road a short distance from the jct with Page Rd. |

numerous smaller ones rock hopped, stepped over |

there was a lot of small debris and numerous smaller blowdowns, along with one spot of tangled large trees, "widow maker" walk under..couple of narrow spots with grown in softwood branches |

Blueberry Mountain (west approach)
LOGGING is in progress as the FS website states, but right now it is on the lower side of the gravel road and hiking trail proper..trail of course was very wet in places and many small blowdowns/debris..upper part had some slippery slabs but then some were dry too..had nice views south and west...trail has some yellow blazes and other markers to show the way..a small, license plate type white with green arrow marker with a bullet hole in it shows the way left, up high... |
