Parking/Access Road Notes: Ravine lodge road still open and snow free.  
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Ice - Black, Wet Trail, Ice - Blue

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None of any significance, but all of the streams were open with ice on emergent rocks.  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Few blowdowns on Ridge trail, mostly within 1.5 miles of bottom. Two are sizable.  
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Plenty of open water at the moment. Plenty of thick ice in the footway, but nothing that gave him any trouble.

Lost and Found: Found someone's homework re: the Louisiana Purchase under the rock I sat on at the summit. Gah, use a dictionary Larry!  
 
Comments
Comments: Plenty of ice made careful foot placement necessary along most of upper beaver brook and the upper ridge trail. Would have worn MS descending that way had I known how long it would go on. Near perfect conditions for late november, and I only saw one other group all day. Where is everyone?
