Comments
Comments: Great hike. Other than the section of blowdowns from Field to Willey, trails in great shpae. Some pretty good areas of ice but was able to bare boot with some extra care. A light dusting of snow further hid the ice on the rocks and Yak Trax would have been great, but only had micro spikes and I did not want to dull them since we did okay without them. Had never done Mt. Avalon before, but glad we did, great views of the Notch from the summit!
