Comments: A work schedule change allowed me to go tie us some loose ends in Dixville Notch..parked at western trailhead..pretty steep climb, reminded me of Mt. Flume summit area..used Hillsounds Pro trail crampons and glad I had them!!crossed a slide which should rank right up there with the best the higher peaks have!!only an inch or two of frozen snow but some ice flows too make cautious going up to height of land...
