| Comments: |
Very mixed bag of trail conditions from bare ground with running water and mud on lower Liberty Springs to substantial ice flows in other areas. Constantly changing conditions all day. Bring microspikes- we wore from initial steep ascent of Bridal path to the bushwhack off Liberty Springs. Also bring crampons as some will be more comfortable in them in certain areas. Beyond the crap underfoot, the day was spectacular with no wind on the ridge, bright sunny skies after a cloudy start up to the hut, some undercast..great day out with Cory. |
