| Comments: |
Great day despite a chilly start. The trail is firmly packed and had hardly any drifting snow. I barebooted up to Starr King then put on snowshoes, anticipating deep snowdrifts between the two peaks, but there was hardly any and one could bareboot easily without damaging the trail. It was fun meeting Ben and sharing the trail on the way down to the hardwoods, where he then took off, as he wanted to hike another short 4K. |
