Comments
Comments: Monta Rosa, Monadnock, Bald Rock
Beautiful day, managed to get a 7mi, 2000' hike out of Monadnock with some looping around. I didn't use traction the entire day (the occasional patches of hard ice were side-stepable), Margaret used Microspikes from Monadnock peak down to the Old Toll Rd. A group of hikers that came up White Arrow said that traction was definitely needed there--some had on crampons and others Microspikes.
