Conditions of the trails varied quite a lot. Went from packed snow to a little ice to very thick ice. Crampons would have been best for the thick ice but no one wanted to keep putting them on off and on. Keep microspikes on most of the day and when very icy, walked on side of trail. Beautiful views from summits. |
