Comments
Comments: The trail was hard packed to the height of land at 3,100 feet. The number of blowdowns in the trail in the open woods near the height of land require that you pay attention to stay on the trail. We began our bushwhack at the height of land and generally followed a bearing of 146 degrees to the summit. The snow was not very deep and for the most part, it was hard enough to walk on top of it. Used used light traction to the summit. This was a winter bushwhack for Bruce (Brewster) and my Winter Tailwrights list. Bruce is closing in on the list with 7 of the 72 to go.
