Comments
Comments: followed a group up past Avalon Jct where they went straight up a gully...my self and a couple of other singles located the trail and proceeded.Take the right fork there which takes you to the side hill section that brings you up to the col..Mt Tom Spur a bit obscure in spots but I think a good route has been broken out..lots of bendover spots as the snow depth increases....at least 3 feet of new snow with some pretty impressive drifting..I was swallowed up by one spruce trap near the summit avoiding a bendover...the trees revenge!!This will be good view point for a bit..though none today..as the snowlevel has you above the trees on the summit
