Comments
Comments: About 6 inches of snow at lower elevations. Around 2,000 feet the depth increased to about a foot. After Noon Peak the snow depth varied between 12-16 inches. Icing on the snow covered trees between Noon and Jenning Peak bent them downwards onto the trail becoming additional obtacles and slowing progress; routefinding was also difficult but we did manage to traverse even though we might have wandered a bit. It was a beautiful winter wonderland. With the snow clinging onto the branches we were surrounded by snow garlands!
