Comments
Comments: Old Bridle Path was well packed from the beginning to about 1 1/2 miles in, after that there was soft snow, which is now well packed after the days activity on the trail. Unfortunately, there were some barebooters in front of us that made the snow shoeing a little tough for a while. On the way down, the trail had recovered well with many other snow shoers repairing the damage. Above the hut was limited visibilty today, with only a couple of breaks in the mist, opening up some gorgeous winter views. We hiked over to Lincoln, then returned to Lafayette and back down OBP because of the limited visibility. The trail is in great shape!
