We bare-booted and used microspikes all day. There are a few spots where snowshoes would have been preferable, but they were small, where the snow had drifted. Most of the track was well-packed. There were a few small avoidable patches of ice on the ledges and some bare rock. Very cold, very windy, but with the right gear we were warm and toasty. Great views! Thanks for the great hike folks! |
