Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No issues
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One large blowdown on the lower section; have to sit on it and climb over but no issues. VERY icy the first 1/4 to 1/3d of the trail but most of the water ice sections are avoidable with minor bushwhacking. By the first mile, the trail became mostly packed snow, with some postholes but generally good walking with microspikes. Ledges fine and no or minimal ice up high. I think I found the trail over to Barteltt Mtn but did not have time to investigate.
