Comments
Comments: Snowshoes are of little use except perhaps for traction. Except for occasional drifts on the higher open ledges the trail is hard packed. In the drifting areas the snow was filling in your tracks almost as soon as you went through. If you have an old pair of spikes this is a good place to use them as there is a fair bit of exposed rock and bare ledge especially on the Dickey side.
