Comments
Comments: Great day to be out, had the trail and mountain to ourselves all day. Dramatic sky with snow showers visible to the West on and off, but sun poking through too. Cloud ceiling estimate 4500-5000 ft. Fabulous views, of course. Fire tower is open.

It was cold enough that light traction was all that I needed and my snowshoes got a free ride. However, had it warmed up and softened enough, shoes would be mandatory so as not to ruin the trail.
