Comments
Comments: Friday's weather left a coating of 1-2 inches of wet snow which was just enough to hide underlying ice, rocks, postholes and the like so some attention had to be paid to footing. I tried microspikes in the morning but removed them after 3 minutes due to gigantic snowball accumulation under my feet. As the day went on the wet snow became slush making for some slippery footing, especially descending the Mount Roberts Trail.

Other than a group heading east near the Faraway outlook I didn't see a single person duing my hike. Low lying clouds over the area and south across Lake Winnipesaukee to the Belknaps made for some great pics. Another great day roaming the Ossipees!
