Comments
Comments: Snow started out as a trace on the White. We barebooted easily. About a 1/4 mile from Gunstock Summit there was enough snow/ice to put on the microspikes. From Gunstock to Belknap there was plenty of snow, but it was consolidated. Trail conditions were mostly dependent on angles. Where the trail faced South and South East snow was non existent or not very deep. Other directions had more snow. Both the col between Gunstock-Belknap and Belknap-Piper had plenty of snow. The entire hike could be bare booted. Spikes made it easier for us. Gave snowshoes a free ride.
