Comments
Comments: Karen and I got inspired by Bryan's report to attempt Clough again. We were turned back at 2800' this winter attempting from Tunnel Brook. This route (even if there had been snow) would be MUCH easier. Went in about a mile on LP road then basically stayed NE for the entire hike up. As Bryan said, lots of herd paths and moose sign. Very open whack. A couple of sprucy sections and two small blow down areas. Snow was almost gone. No traction needed. Followed our route down and then turned west and headed for the road for the exit. Highly recommend this route to get Clough. If you are doing NHHH this is the time to go. Open, Dry, No Bugs.
