Comments
Comments: Great traverse w/ Steve Barbour. Bare booted until the first major water crossing on the Flume Slide Tr. Rocks were covered with ice so we put on spikes. Changed to crampons at the bottom of Flume Slide. Back to spikes at the top of the steeps then bare booted the last half mile to the parking lot. Many sections of the ridge have 2-3' of snow. Some sections have 4+ feet. Major sections of the ridge and Greenleaf down to the trees are exposed rock. Shoes may be needed later in the day.
