Blueberry Mtn trail from Page Rd
I headed up Blueberry Mtn 4/19/13 for an afternoon hike in the 65-70 degree weather. The first mile or so of trail was a logging road, so I made quick work of it. Once on the trail, conditions turned muddy, with stream crossings sprinkled in....There were several patches of ice/wet snow towards the ledges and summit, but only one short section that was significant...I used microspikes going up but bushwhacked around it coming down. Views of the Moose and surrounding Benton Range were awesome despite the increasing clouds. -saw moose, deer, and coyote tracks. |
