Comments
Comments: Access road is open almost to Loon summit. Barebooted as far as cleared. Snowshoes most of the rest of the day except when woods got to tight. Posthole city without snowshoes. Still several feet of rotten mush up high. Followed trail toward Black Mt. I think I turned down ridge too early. Thick woods most of day. Fun to look at some of the entries in the cannisters. Middle Scar had entries from the early '90s!! Whacked down to East Pond trail. Biked back to Loon. Challenging traverse. Beautiful day!
