Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of parking at the AMC Cardigan Lodge.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth

Water Crossing Notes: Water crossings easily done. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Clark trail between woodland and Vistamont needs some work as does Vistamont.

Dog-Related Notes: Plenty of water on the trail for hydration from start to finish. 
Bugs
Bugs: No bugs in the morning. None at the summit of Cardigan as it was too windy. Bugs flying around the car when we got back but they weren't interested in us.

Comments
Comments: There is one steep spot on the Manning trail where you might want traction. It is short, steep and dicey. Other than that the trails were easily barebooted.
