Water Crossing Notes: All crossings hoppable today.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Where to begin. The Baldface Circle Trail segments we were on today were in good shape. Slippery Brook had some step overs if I recall, and Eastman Mountain had a couple step overs. Baldface Knob in good shape. Meader Ridge Trail was messy, many blowdowns of all types, pick your poison. More of the same on Basin Rim Trail, with some clusters making travel interesting at times. Both Meader Ridge and Basin Rim weren't all bad, with some nice sections. Royce Trail, the Connector, and East Royce Trail all in good shape.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: Minor, flying around at times, but mostly a non-issue.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Maybe my sanity?

Comments
Comments: What was supposed to be a Meetup group of six, turned into a group of four. Maher, Jesse, Mike, and myself, killed it today. Our pace was quick up to Eastman, and then we throttled back for the rest of the day. It definitely got warm in the sun, but were thankful for shady sections of trail, and clouds to block out the heat-maker. Interesting conditions between Eagle Crag and the Royces, many, many, (did I say many?) blowdowns blocked the way, but didn't hinder our travel. Glad we all made the summit of East Royce to finish off the traverse, epic views all day.

Blog report later today, after some sleep!
