| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Some minor spots of mud or water, but all easy to avoid on rocks rather than going around and widening the trail |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Halfway house trail has ribbons at wet spots leading me to believe they plan to do some drainage and rebuilding work |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
no pets allowed |
| Bugs: |
Mosquitoes were out in force down low if you stopped moving. The closer to treeline the better it got |
| Lost and Found: |
Found some trash left on the summit, brought it down with me to dispose of it |

| Comments: |
A great afternoon hike and a relaxing wait for the sunset which I watched from the summit. The half moon and clear skies made it so I only used my headlamp some on the way down. Conditions were cool (50 degrees) with just a bit of breeze (10 mph) just before sunset. Thin gloves might have been nice while I was taking pictures. Otherwise I kept my hands in my pockets |
