Attention Southern New Englanders: This is a fine substitute for a trip to the Whites. From Miller State Park you can piece together an out-and-back with minimal repeat, covering roughly 12 miles and 3000' elevation gain. Be sure to do the Cliff Trail and Ted's Trail -- the views from the ledges on North Pack Monadnock are excellent. See the link below for a good trail map.
