the mosquito swarm descended the minute I opened the car door!!!! The only time they weren't biting was when I was spraying myself. Did the IRS sick them on me? |

I didn't get very far - was hoping to do this part of the trail from the north but gave up about 10 minutes after leaving the car - the trail is WAY to &*(^(Y^ing wet!!!! No apparent trailbed from north? Soaked my shoes instantly..... Maybe next time I will check when the local fire department signs say "no burning - fire danger HIGH" and wait another couple weeks - that's when the trail might be dry? |
