| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I parked where the Cross Rivendell trail crosses Baker Road. Getting from there to Quinntown Road isn't that tricky; just don't be fooled by any of the left turns- not even the third, where what looks like a much better road turns uphill and the actual trail goes straight ahead and deteriorates a little. |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All easy. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The usual spring windfalls on the AT, but none cause any problems; and there are only a couple with paths mysteriously growing around them. There was a volunteer working on the drainage in a few spots. It's a little damp after all the rai this week, but in good shape for te upcoming through-hiker season. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Would've been fine, but the kids stayed home today. |

| Bugs: |
None. |

| Comments: |
This is a really nice, little-used loop. Not quite eight miles; about 2500 vertical feet; just about four hours including a nice break on the summit; and great views south and west along the AT. |
