Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: There's plenty of parking early in the morning but as the day wears on it gets full really fast (it's a small lot) and people have to park on Route 16, so just be careful.

Surface Conditions: Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Standing/Running Water on Trail

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All major water crossings on Nineteen Mile Brook Trail and Carter Dome Trail were very passable, and the water level was normal. Easy to do by walking on rocks and logs. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: No issues! No blowdowns, drainage is great. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: There's plenty of water for dogs on Nineteen Mile Brook Trail and Carter Dome Trail below Zeta Pass, but above Zeta Pass there's only the occasional small trickle.

Comments: Great trail, and a great day to be out today. It threatened to rain all morning but ultimately the clouds burned off by late afternoon. If you've never been to Carter Dome before, be sure to go to Hight too for the really great views.
