Comments
Comments: trails were in nice shape with only one short section of mud on the trail up willard. after a morning bushwack that went faster than expected i figure it was finally time to hike up willard after walking by it's trail more times than i can remember. the views from the summit ledges were certainly as great as i expected, but the flies didn't allow too much time to really soak them in. poked around in the woods to the west a bit looking for the highpoint and along a herd path that led to more ledgy outlooks. was particularly impressed by the great look at the steep east side of mt. willey. great to be out.
