Recent heavy rain has the brook running strong, but water crossings (6?) are rock-hopable |

3 step-under blowdowns, other than that the trail in great shape. |

last reliable water for dogs is available when you start up the log steps on a switch-back left with the stream on your right. |

If rain is imminent I would not recommend the Falling Waters trail as flash flooding could make the water crossings impassible, leaving you with the options of going back up to Franconia Ridge, or face a daunting bushwack down. |
