Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The parking lot for the Drakes Brook and Sandwich Mtn. Trails, near the town of Waterville Valley, wasn't full when I arrived at 9:15, but was nearly so at 2:30 pm, despite the iffy weather (downpour 5 minutes after I reached my car).

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Drakes Brook at start of Sandwich Mtn. Tr.: easy due to logs. Drakes Brook on Drakes Brook Tr.: moderate rock hop. Fletchers Cascade Brook: easy rock hop. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: All three Trails in fine shape. The last .2 mile of Fletchers Cascade Trail, which traces the right edge of the Cascade, is necessarily steep and rough.

Comments: Excellent loop, and I think Jennings Peak tops even Sandwich Dome for views. Fletchers Cascade is off the beaten track and worth a visit, although it must be better at high water.
