||Road to winter parking area is a bit muddy but nothing too bad. |
||Snow - Wet/Sticky, Snow/Ice - Postholes, Snow - Spring Snow |
|Water Crossing Notes:
||The unbridged water xing low on the W. Ridge is starting to go. Someone postholed through it. |
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||Blowdowns aplenty but most have detours or step overs or duck unders. |
|Lost and Found:
||Saw at least 8 people ascending W. Ridge trail without floatation adding their foot print holes to an outrageously war zone-like trail.|
Dukes and Alexandria and lower Manning are fine. The snow was tough to ski with old layers now rotting setting you up for lots of surprises.
