Parked at the long Mountain Brook trailhead and took the longer Percy Loop trail. |

A few minor crossings easily rock-hoppable |

There are 2 blowdowns about 0.5 miles from the trailhead. One is easily hoppable the other is thigh high. |

Trail conditions ranged from a wide carriage road with easy footing to single-track rocky terrain to open and exposed granite slabs.
Herd path to S Percy is not marked but at an obvious location in the col. It's overgrown but very easy to follow.
