Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking at both Rt. 171 & at Castle Lot next to water plant.

Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Snow - Drifts, Mud, Snow - Wet/Sticky, Snow/Ice - Postholes, Snow - Spring Snow

Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: On steep pitch below 1st lookout,running water/mud in trail, not deep.  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: 2 blowdowns just below summit, easily crossed over 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Stanley had a fine time even though the snow was soft and deep.

Lost and Found: There is a Nissan car key on the LRCT sign at the lot near the water plant. 
 
Comments
Comments: Snow covered except the bottom pasture. Up to 3' deep above the ledges in the woods with a few deeper drifts. A few bare spots on some ledges but mostly all snow covered. Snowshoes would be best but there are many postholes from barebooters.
