Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Spotted a car at the Davis Path lot on 302. Trash everywhere. I usually have a plastic shopping bag or 2 in my car but I didn't yesterday. If I am up that way next week I will be sure to bring a large trash bag and pick up the ridiculous amounts of trash. Glen Ellis lot much cleaner (this is a fee lot). Plenty of room at both.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant
Recommended Equipment

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Nothing significant
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Glen Boulder in excellent condition. Davis Path to Isolation in excellent condition. DP from Isolation to Mt. Davis and from Mt. Davis to Stairs could use some love. Really overgrwon in spots, bog bridges rotten or over taken by vegetation. Lots of mud pits. Still, a very beautiful and 'wild' trail. DP from Stairs to Crawford a bit muddy in sections but otherwise in good shape.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Didn't see any today and it would be tough for them between Isolation and Crawford as there aren't really any readily available water sources.
Bugs
Bugs: Yup. They are still here buzzing and biting. Although we only encountered them here and there so it was nice they didn't bother us the whole time :)
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a full Nalgene bottle of water on Glen Boulder before the boulder. We weren;t sure if someone was ahead of us and purposely left it there so we left it...its off white with a purple cap.

Comments
Comments: Yesterday was the perfect day weather wise for this traverse. Strong breezes definitely helped keep the bugs at bay most of the time and there was very little humidity up high. I would recommend wearing long pants for the section of DP from Isolation to Crawford. Lots of scrapes and cuts from overgrowth. We got a little bit of a late start and despite neither one of us feeling our best we still had a great time and made good time overall.
