Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Gorge Brook Trail crossings are bridged. Small crossings on the Snapper Trail are easy rock hops
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Gorge Brook Trail redirected up the Snapper Trail then to a connector trail (Wales Carter) to rejoin the original Gorge Brook Trail. The Wales Carter Connector has some mud areas which the DOC was busy rectifying today. A very short section of the South Peak Spur has evergreen growth encroaching the pathway. The Moosilauke Carriage Road has some erosion but it causes no difficulties at this time. All in all the DOC is maintaining their trails well.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Should be fine for dogs.
Bugs
Bugs: Some at lower elevations

Comments
Comments: The Gorge Brook - Moosilauke Carriage Road - Snapper circuit is relatively easy with generally good footing. Unfortunately clouds obscured views from Mt Moosilauke. There was a great view down the Tunnel and its wetlands from South Peak.
