Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in good shape. It appeared to me that New Path climbing to the ridgeline once had blazes, but they have been scraped off, leaving black marks that are de facto blazes. Not needed in any event, as the trails are well worn and easy to follow.

Comments
Comments: New Path a throwback - pretty much straight up the west side of So. Doublehead, with little switchbacking. Still fine views, but a number have grown in somewhat since my prior hike, 8 years ago. Trees - can't live with them, can't live without them.
