 | Comments: |
The Ice Gulch was all it was claimed to be.Every step was slippery(especially in my bald Asolos, yet the protection of the heavy leather was welcomed on the hard stones)A full body work out and test of nerves was the reward for this hike.
After beating ourselves up in the gulch, we went up Mt Crescent which turned out to be a little more than the easy hike we had imagined. Rewarded by great views from the north of the Plinys and from the South of the Presidentials. With our car within sight 1/4 mile down the road we got a free and unwanted soaking from a sudden shower as we finished. |
