Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of room at Stony Brook...less room in Gorham. Very good trail signs both locations.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: 1st brook non-bridged crossing on Stoney Brook easy to miss. Look for a small cairn on opposite bank. Rock hoppable. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in good shape. Some ledges were slippery from recent rains.

Dog-Related Notes: Saw a few...beautiful day for them 
Bugs
Bugs: None...no bug spray needed. The trail does narrow in places, so deet would be a good idea for ticks

Comments: Great day. 2 of us one the summit completed our 47th and one young lady finished her 44th. One of the hikers hiking solo was 77 and looked great. Congratulations to him! Why is Moriah so far down the list for many of us? It's a great hike!
